| hmm...I don't have all that much to say except that i'm excited for volleyball! we had practice tonight, and i had a great time....i totally miss it....tourney next weekend at clay center, i hope we do well! club volleyball is always so fun, cuz it's a lot of my best friends, (minus sage--- HOW COULD I FORGET YOU!?!??!) and we get to just hang out while playing one of my favorite sports, and if u want a good workout, this is it....playing around 6 hours of volleyball at a day at each tournament you go to DEFINITELY is good for ya! yey! i can't wait! | | |
| I am proud to say that I'm a member of this year's E-M CRC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP Quiz Bowl team! haha ya! i'm a loser! it WAS pretty exciting to win tho....i don't think our school has ever won a quiz bowl championship, and I had a blast today! youth group was pretty neat too, especially since I'm starting to understand what's going on...and actually know some (ok, not many at all...but a few) answers to the questions! Pastor Jeff does an amazing job of getting the message through to me, even when the words seem as though they're in a different language....I love it when i start to understand things! I always feel peaceful when I'm at youth group, for the most part, and it's nice, to feel so warm and cozy! lol....I really like meeting new friends tho, and this has definitely been a great opportunity for me to get to do so. I hope i don't have to miss many more youth groups....i'm starting to get hooked on it! hehe! hope to see you all very soon! | | |
| O ya, I forgot...I thought of a good quote, at least everyone else thought it was funny last year when I said it....hehe.
After walking into the lockerroom and seeing the flowers COVERING EVERYTHING in existence....and hearing everyone whine about how THEY didn't get flowers, and how they wished they had some, I said "well, I hope I never get this many flowers, because the only way I would is if I died, and it was for my funeral." and sage w/her "you are the dawn of my soap"  haha ya. alex due and brett baller also happen to be pretty hilarious, and I could provide like 3 year's worth of reading on things they've said lately....but I'll save that for some other time....cuz I just wrote a LOT, and I doubt anyone'll read all this. lol i'm done now! bye! | | |
| Ok, so, I really don't mind Valentine's Day that much, even though I never have a boyfriend when it comes around...and everyone else who's single gets all depressed...but I have my friends to keep me happy, which is definitely a good thing. I love how they always make me smile, and that I know that they'll always be here for me....as they have been since I was like 2 months old! I'm so happy I have them, and that they know so much about me, that I never have to be worried about being embarrassed, and I always know I'll be accepted by them, no matter what. I hope all ya'll know that it goes the same for you! SO, in other news, I'm looking for a car.....in particular a Chevy Monte Carlo SS 2000 and up....w/a moonroof, and NOT white...and then we are in business! I've found a couple that I like, but still not the perfect car...I'm SO excited to be getting another car, one that isn't a grandma car!!! YEY!!! Tomorrow's Quiz Bowl and I'm really excited for that.....cuz I'm a geek, and geeks like stuff like that! lol! idk. OOO, another thing...I now have a job....that's TOTALLY exciting...except for the fact that it consists of working in an office doing the jobs the other people don't want to do...anything odds n' ends, or just incredibly boring...w/ever they feel like making me do, really, but I'm just really glad to be making money!!!! Nike Shox and Ipod, here I come!!!! I LOVE making money! well, that's all I know for now, now that I've bored everyone to tears! | I just got back from Wesleyan Honor Band....and it was really fun! I was kinda worried about it at first, cuz i was the only one from my school, but the Papio South people let me hang out with their group, and they are frickin hilarious. It's never a dull moment with them. I swear that i never stopped laughing the whole time. It's great to get out and meet new people, and now i have a bunch of friends from Omaha....it's just too bad i don't get to go down there much. You know what's kinda sad....after 3 days, i still couldn't play half of one of the songs, so i pretty much faked it...it was bad.   hope i see all ya'll at youth group this week! | | |
